250 Indians Rescued from Cambodia in Crackdown on ‘Fake Job’ Scam, Confirms MEA

Around 250 Indians were rescued from Cambodia in a crackdown on a ‘fake job’ scam, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The Indian Embassy in Cambodia actively addressed the grievances of citizens coerced into illegal cyber activities. Of the rescued, 75 were repatriated in the last three months. MEA issued warnings to prevent such scams and is collaborating with authorities in India to combat fraudsters.
