India Gears Up for Global Big Cat Conservation with New Alliance

The Union environment ministry gains approval for the establishment of the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), mirroring the International Solar Alliance. With a ₹150 crore commitment for five years, India will lead global efforts in sharing big cat conservation practices. The IBCA aims to bridge resource gaps and establish standardized practices for the conservation of tigers, lions, leopards, snow leopards, and cheetahs.
