Indian Army to Utilize U.S.-made Apache Choppers Armed with ‘Hellfire’ to Pose Challenge to Pakistan

The Indian Army plans to station six new AH64E Apache attack helicopters near the Pakistan border at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The squadron, dubbed ‘tanks in the air,’ was established on March 15. Armed with Hellfire missiles, the choppers boast heavy anti-armour capabilities and can track up to 128 targets per minute. Deliveries commence in May.
