Rupee remains steady at 83.33 against the U.S. dollar in early trade due to a strong dollar and increased oil prices. Positive equity markets and foreign fund inflows cushioned the Indian currency’s fall. Rupee opened at 83.32 and stabilized at 83.33. Dollar index slightly up at 104.07. Brent crude futures rose to $86.56 per barrel. BSE Sensex up by 0.23%, Nifty by 0.24%. FIIs net buyers at ₹2,170.32 crore.
